Hues of autumnal colours with a warm haze presents itself in the Swiss Alps alongside the snow capped mountains.

‘I was born in a small village in the Urals and I have always painted from nature itself.. I cannot paint from photographs or memory. I make sketches and return to my studio and then again to the landscape or trees I am painting at that time, in the same season.
