“Hydra is a serene island in the Greek archipelago, just an hour away from Athens, where a friend chose to celebrate her wedding. This unique island intentionally prohibits motorized vehicles, ensuring an unpolluted and tranquil environment. As I sat at a cozy taverna perched on the edge of a cliff, gazing out over the Adriatic Sea, I was mesmerized by the breathtaking view of distant mountains painted in various shades of blue. It was in these moments of awe and wonder that the inspiration for my art series was born. Originally crafted in concrete, this series has now been transformed into screen prints for the very first time.

The series includes two prints: one named ‘Hydra’ in honour of the island, and the other ‘Mont Blanc’, for its sheer splendour. Mountains hold a special place in my heart as they are, to me, spiritual locations brimming with powerful energy. This collection is particularly dear to me.”
