Amit Pasricha was born in New Delhi into a family of photographers. He attended St. Stephens's College, Delhi and later went on to study at Maine Photographic Worshops. He has since photographed for numerous national magazines in India and worked
with the Indian state tourism departments. He has exhibited in various exhibitions in Delhi & Mumbai since 1985.
